The 69th Annual Tony Award nominations were announced yesterday. As expected, the results were rife with dramatic twists and turns, along with some surprising snubs. Why all the drama? Because, as anyone can tell you, more nods means more people pay attention to the show. And more people buy tickets.
So who scored the most nominations this year? Well, let's just say the nominators seem to be smitten with four musicals this time: The first two, “An American in Paris” (pictured) and “Fun Home” garnered 12 nominations each.
